Caren Bright, Executive Director
Caren was called by the Lord into ministry in February 2014 as part of an incredible life journey. She has overcome homelessness, domestic abuse, and extreme poverty. She experienced God’s transforming power through His provisions and the love of our Lake Highlands community. Her neighbors lifted her up by teaching and helping her develop the tools needed to better provide for herself and her children. During time alone with the Lord, Caren felt God calling her to start Pamper Lake Highlands as a way to help lead other women to freedom and purpose.
Russ Kaufmann, Board Chair
Russ has served in the IT services industry since the late 1990’s. During his career he has worked for many industry technology leaders and has helped them develop and manage some of their largest partnerships. He is currently working for VMWare, a global leader in cloud infrastructure and digital workplace technologies, managing one of their largest national partners. He has served and continues to participate in many community initiatives. He previously served on the Lake Highlands YMCA board. He is currently an active member of both the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands and Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, which provides a variety of outreach ministries.
Clint Williamson, Secretary
Clint has worked in the medical device industry since 2008, most recently helping physicians to provide their patients with non-narcotic post-operative pain relief. He attended Texas A&M University before transferring and completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. Clint has a passion for missions and is an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church, where he has been a member since 2009.
Cristal has been involved in government affairs and politics professionally for over 8 years; however, her passion for service began long before. Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Government from Texas Women’s University, Cristal has held several roles in the political and legal professions. She excelled to become Chief of Staff for a Dallas-area State Representative, and at that time was one of the youngest Chiefs of Staff of over 100 holding the same position for other representatives. She currently works at Children’s Medical Center as Manager in Government and Community Relations. Cristal’s number one passion is service and empowerment, and with that she has also become more involved in helping community leaders take on elected/leadership roles so that they may enhance the quality of life of our communities.
